Dual Accreditation
Here at PCS we don’t take our accreditations lightly. Our continuing education process is rigorous because we understand the educational power that accreditations hold. They equip and advance how effective we are in terms of innovation and research and are at the center of each of our programs.
All of the teachers at PCS are ACSI certified and Cognia certified and hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree – more than half have a master’s or higher. Regardless of the degree, each teacher is dedicated to continuing their professional development and takes part in continuing education opportunities regularly.
A Note From Our School Administrator
Welcome to Payson Christian School. I am Dr. Aaron Walp, the school administrator. My wife, TJ, and I have been married for over 32 years. We have two adult sons and a granddaughter. We love the outdoors and backpack, kayak, ride our CanAm, or whatever else we can do to get outside and take in this breathtaking Arizona scenery. God showed off when He designed this fantastic state!
I have had the privilege of serving in various leadership positions in six states. From my diverse background, we have made numerous calculated changes over the last five years. We seek simplicity: Honor God. Never settle for mediocre. Do not speak the words, “That’s the way it’s always been!” There is always work to be done, and nothing is “below” anyone! Lastly, start each day expecting to learn something new.
No one at PCS has “arrived.” We are servants of the Most High – always learning, growing, and demanding innovation. I would love to have you join us as we work together to make PCS a top-notch ministry that adequately prepares students for the rigors of a very tough tomorrow. We live in a real world with real problems; let’s get our kids ready for reality via a solid education.
