The Enrollment Process
1. Inquire Online
The process begins when you schedule a tour with our relations manager. We encourage everyone to take a tour to meet the staff and have the opportunity to ask any questions while visiting the school. Before the tour, you will receive an enrollment checklist and other application materials.
After your tour, a link to apply will be emailed to you. A non-refundable fee of $75 must be submitted with the application. Total, including the initial $75 is: $275 for first student, $110 for a second student, $0.00 for third and up
Email our Registrar now to schedule your family’s tour at Bneumann@pcspayson.org.
2. Administrative Review
After the tour and all of the necessary forms are complete, we will schedule the student(s) for educational assessments in order to determine the best place for them in our school.
Once the educational assessments and paperwork are complete, the school administrator will review all of the information. If we believe that the student will thrive from Payson Christian School’s style of education, you will receive an acceptance letter via email.
3. Countdown to the First Day!
Once you have received the acceptance letter, the countdown to the first day can begin! Make sure to order the uniform ahead of time and check out the school supply checklist.
Scholarship Opportunities
As a private, Christian school, we do not receive funding from any government sources. Students have the opportunity to apply for scholarships through many Student Tuition Organizations (STO). Scholarships are available for all students despite financial circumstances; however, by law, financial circumstances are considered by each STO. Submitting applications for scholarships does not guarantee awards. Each one is unique in its requirements so you may have the chance to apply for multiple scholarships. Visit the sites below to see if your child can apply for an STO scholarship. Keep in mind, that to be considered for an award, an application needs to be on file each school year.
At Payson Christian School, we are committed to supporting each student’s unique learning journey. While we value the goals of 504 Plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), our resources may limit our ability to meet all specific requirements. We encourage a meeting to discuss how we can best support your child within our capabilities, aiming for a collaborative approach to their education.
ACSTO
The Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization (ACSTO) is the primary STO that PCS partners with.
School Choice Arizona
School Choice Arizona (SCA) is a primary corporate, low-income scholarship that PCS partners with.
T.O.P.S. for Kids
T.O.P.S. for Kids is another primary corporate, low-income scholarship PCS partners with.
Additional Scholarship Organizations
There are many scholarship organizations available. Understandably, it can be overwhelming to learn about them all. For scholarship assistance, schedule a 1:1 scholarship consultation. We would be happy to help!
“We choose PCS because they cultivate Christian moral development, build foundational Biblical understanding, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for dependable scholastic growth. We found that government and charter schools sought to indoctrinate our daughter with socially stunted tripe meant to tell students what to think instead of how to think. Our daughter has developed study methods at PCS that make her proud. Our family loves PCS!”
